Discover Tasmania Website Portals
Absolutely fascinating, discover the best kept secrets
of Tasmania and the out of the way places that you
won't find in the Tasmanian tourism brochures. A directory
to assist people in discovering environmental issues
and to assist in the ending of clearfelling of Old
Growth and Native Forests in Tasmania.
|
Launched 19
November 2002, Discover Tasmania (DT) remains online
and well.
The Tasmanian Government (via
its Tourism Tasmania) has sued DT and lost (see
AUSTLII), tried to buy DT and failed (DT is not
for sale) and offered DT employment which was declined
on principle. The Government continues to employ its
lawyers to find ways of shutting DT down, the forestry
vandals continue their virus attacks, disassociation
continues from whimps like Tasmanian
Times (P/L) & Leatherwood
Magazine who are more concerned with the bottom
line, and the dills just don't get it. Trouble is
(for them), DT tells the truth, is immune to such
silly, stupid & malicious tactics and sues (them)
when it is defamed. The legal principle of the right
to freedom of speech and the fight against Global
Warming prevail.
